The title of this one is "Making Sense of Nothing." Can you tell what it is? ... (hint: it's a cross-section of a human head ) That being said, I guess the style would be called anatomical expressionism? 0_0' ... xD idk. Anyway! Here's what I was thinking when I painted it. The premise of this painting is that this person (the subject of the painting) is seeing something...but you don't kno w what. Maybe it's something important, maybe something insignificant...who knows? But whatever it is, its image is being seen by way of the light which travels into the person's eye. Separating into a beautiful spectrum of predecessors to thought as it enters the gateways of the person's mind, it then travels down the optic nerve (you can see it if you look closely ) and turns into the colorful explosions you see in the person's brain - these are supposed to be waves of racing thoughts and overinterperetations and curiosities as the person tries to make sense what he or she is seeing....which, as per the title, is probably nothing at all.
I definatley see what you've done here lol its great by the way .. the first time i looked at it i thought it was some sort of a volcano ( this may sound dumb ) But A mountain that was once icy then evetually it will erupt because of all the red around it and if you follow the outer red line that would be the lava haha .. but the second time i can clearly see the eye
I love that interpretation! It's fun to be able to look at my own artwork through someone else's eyes. ^w^ And, of course, thank you very much for your kind words! They're much appreciated. ^^ <3
